Fancy Color Diamonds: 2,591 diamonds availables |
 |
The realm of colored diamonds is a special entity in the world of
diamonds. These diamonds with intense and varied colors sometimes reach record prices, far higher than their equivalent in
colorless "white" diamonds. |
 |
|
 |
There are diamonds of all colors: yellow, pink, blue, red, orange,
green, black, cognac, champagne, etc... Certain colors, such as red, green, certain intensities of blue or pink, are extremely rare. |
 |
 At an auction held at
Christie's in Geneva in November 2007, the selling price of a 2.26-carat Fancy Purplish Red octagonal diamond reached the sum of
$1,180,339 per carat, or $2,667,567 for the stone. A world record for the price per carat for a red diamond. This diamond,
which is set in a ring (left-hand photo), had been valued prior to the sale at approximately $1.5 million; it was bought by Laurence Graff. |

Tip: hover your mouse cursor over the various fields in the
form above or in the form's dropdown lists and you will see help or information about this field. |
 |
Certain filtering options can considerably limit the number
of results obtained. For example, if you select "With Copy" in the dropdown list in the "Copy of certificate" field, you will see
only those diamonds for which you can see a copy of the gemological certificate on our website. These optional fields should therefore
be used in moderation. |

You can modify the rate of VAT and the currency
of your choice. |
 |
Exchange rate applied for this calculation is as follows: EUR 1.00 = USD 1.26200 |
 |
As diamond prices are expressed in US dollars (USD) on the
international market, prices have to be converted from dollars to euros. The exchange rate fluctuates every day in line
with the currency markets, so it is not surprising that the prices displayed on this page vary slightly from day to day. |
