Comment:

Uncertaine origin, perhaps India, probably Golconda. Considered a sister stone to the Darya-i-Nur Diamond, it was taken by the Persians during the Sack of Delhi in 1739 and is now among the Crown Jewels of Iran. Taj-e-Mah means Crown (or Crest) of the Moon.
