An eternity ring is a metal band around which a series of diamonds is set.
Eternity rings are usually given for a wedding anniversary or the birth of a first child. It is also the symbol of eternal love and of the bond uniting two people.
There exist many eternity ring models, in gold and in platinum. These eternity rings can be set with round brilliant cut, princess cut, or baguette cut diamonds. It is essential that the diamonds be calibrated properly and that their dimensions be identical in order to get a beautiful ring.
We are diamantaires and we choose the diamonds we set on our eternity rings with the utmost care. For this type of jewelry, what matters most is the diamonds we choose. Their quality must be excellent and they also need to be cut perfectly. A diamond must shine and sparkle; it must be imbued with life!

An eternity ring is traditionally worn on the third thinger of the left hand. This tradition supposedly comes from the Romans who thought that the «Vena Amoris», the Vein of Love, ran directly from this finger to the heart. Although this is but a romantic myth, most modern civilizations have kept wearing a ring on this finger.
Eternity rings became very fashionable in the 19th century, when they became a success.
Below are the eternity rings we propose:
Choosing a setting over another is above all a matter of taste. Bar set eternity rings and double prong eternity rings usually look thinner on the finger than the other types of setting that have more metal on the sides.
Prong settings are adapted to round brilliant cut diamonds. An eternity ring with a prong setting is an exceptionally beautiful piece of jewelry as it allows for the light to penetrate the diamond, making the latter shine and sparkle fully.
You can choose a channel set (or channel pave set) eternity ring with round brilliant cut diamonds. The diamonds will be set between the two strips of metal.
It is possible to choose a channel setting for princess cut and baguette cut diamonds. The diamonds - being set against one another - will form a continuous line of diamonds, which makes this type of ring elegant and very modern.
The ring can also be set so as to have round brilliant cut diamonds interspersed with princess cut or baguette cut diamonds. This will give to the eternity ring a rather vintage touch.
The quality of diamonds obviously plays an important role in the final result. The diamonds need to have a beautiful color and a good clarity. They also need to be cut correctly and well-proportioned, otherwise they will not shine and the final result will be ruined.
The eternity rings we offer are set with excellent quality diamonds (D-E-F color grades & VVS clarity grade,) very good quality diamonds (G color grade & VS clarity grade,) and good quality diamonds (H color grade & SI clarity grade.) All these diamonds will be calibrated. They will all have the same dimensions, and will have an excellent cut quality.
Your ring size will influence the number of diamonds that can be set on the eternity ring: the bigger your ring size is, the more diamonds must be set on the ring, and the more expensive the latter will be.
It is impossible to resize a diamond eternity ring, because diamonds are set all along the band. We therefore invite you to have your ring finger measured by a jeweler before ordering an eternity ring on our website. To help you find your ring size, here is our ring size chart.
All our eternity rings are custom-made. They are made in our jewelry workshop on demand.
The eternity rings we sell are made with white gold, yellow gold, rose gold, or platinum. We use 14K gold, 18K gold, and platinum to make our eternity rings.
White gold and yellow gold are the most used metals when making an eternity ring. Platinum is also often chosen by our customers, but it is more expensive. Rose gold is less known by the general public and is more confidential.
Choosing one metal over another is first and foremost a matter of taste. However, this will also depend on the metals used for the other pieces of jewelry of the person you want to give this ring. It is better to have matching pieces of jewelry; if the person has white gold jewelry, then perhaps it would be a good idea to choose something with the same metal.
Please note that platinum and rose gold eternity rings are more expensive and take longer to make.
Platinum being harder than gold, a platinum eternity ring will be less fragile and less likely to chip than a gold eternity ring.
Finally, you have to make sure that the person you wish to give the ring to is not allergic to certain metals. Indeed, the metals (silver, copper, palladium, iridium, etc.) that are used into the composition of gold and platinum could cause allergies to some people.
The price of an eternity ring will mainly depend on the number of diamonds, their carat weight and quality, as well as the metal used, the type of setting, and the ring size.
There is a wide range of prices for eternity rings. Below are some examples of prices:
As you can see, the price range for eternity rings is really wide. We advise you to choose the type of diamonds first (shape, carat weight, color, and clarity,) then the ring size, the metal, and finally the type of setting.
