How to choose a diamond ring?
All our rings are custom-made in our jewelry workshops. They are handmade by one of our jewelers, in accordance with traditional French jewelry making. This is how we get the best rings.
We have been diamantaires for several decades, and we only select the most beautiful diamonds, those whose cut and proportions are ideal. We choose the diamonds that we set on our rings with the utmost care, because we know that they are the centerpiece of jewelry.

We can set round brilliant cut, princess cut, and radiant cut diamonds on our rings, as well as other diamond shapes. Rings can be set with one diamond or several; everything is possible.
We only set on our rings diamonds that are, in compliance with United Nations resolutions, ethically-sourced and conflict-free diamond. This will be clearly stated on your receipt.

All these ring designs can be made with white gold, yellow gold, rose gold, and platinum. We exclusively work with gold and platinum to craft our pieces of jewelry.
The diamond solitaire remains the most classic style of ring in our catalog, and a must-have. While you will see that in our catalog there are both modern and classic solitaires, all of them are very fashionable.
A solitaire will work perfectly as an engagement ring or a wedding ring, but it can also be given for Valentine's Day or a birthday for example.
Pavé diamond rings are more elegant and luxurious than solitaires. A princess/round brilliant cut pavé setting is added on top of the ring so as to add a chicer touch.

Diamond side stone rings are more sophisticated than other ring designs. Two diamonds are placed on either side of the center diamond, which allows for a nice symmetry in the ring. These two diamonds are added so as to enhance the center stone even more.
A side stone ring will work perfectly as an engagement ring, but it can also be gifted for a birthday or any other event.
A trilogy diamond ring is a ring on which three diamonds are set: one in the center and one on either side. The two side stones can either be smaller than that of the center or the same size. In order to get a beautiful ring, it is important that the three diamonds match in quality (color and clarity).
Trilogy diamond rings are given for birthdays, births, or any other events.

How much is a diamond ring?
The price of a ring will depend on the type of ring (solitaire or ring with several diamonds,) but also on the alloy that is used (gold or platinum,) and the complexity of the ring design.
Platinum rings are more expensive than gold rings; because platinum is denser than gold, more material will be required to make the ring.
To give you an idea of how much a ring is, below are some examples of ring prices:
- A gold solitaire set with a 0.5 carat H SI2 round brilliant cut diamond will cost between $1,300.00 and $2,000.00
- A gold pavé ring set with a 0.5 carat H SI2 round brilliant cut diamond will cost between $1,730.00 and $2,200.00
- A gold side stone ring set with a 0.5 carat H SI2 round brilliant cut diamond will cost between $1,960.00 and $2,300.00
- A gold trilogy ring set with a 0.5 carat H SI2 round brilliant cut diamond will cost between $1,995.00 and $3,000.00
What metal should you choose for your ring?
The choice of the metal (alloy) used will depend on:
- the metal used in your other pieces of jewelry; it is best for your pieces of jewelry to match. If you only have yellow gold jewelry, then it would be best to have your next ring made with yellow gold as well.
- the durability of the ring: platinum being denser than gold, platinum rings are more resistant and less likely to chip than gold rings.
- the metal price:a gold ring will be cheaper than a platinum ring.
- the maintenance of your ring: in order to give back all its sparkle and brilliance to a white gold ring that is rhodium plated, you only need to dip it into rhodium from time to time. However, it is more difficult to give back its brilliance to a platinum ring.
